The Holiday Home is located immediately to the rear of the Frog and Bucket Public House (www.frogandbucket.net) adjacent to our 5 pitch touring/motorhome site.

They back onto the pubs overflow carpark which is 15 meters from the rear of the pub.

Frog & Bucket Holiday Home Terms and Conditions

Who your agreement is with

C & Mrs D Ubee t/as Frog and Bucket Caravan Site.  References to ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘our’ in these terms and conditions are to this Company.  References to ‘you’ are to you, as the person making this booking and, where applicable, to every member of your party.

These terms and conditions

These terms and conditions will be incorporated into your booking when we have received full, or part payment, from you.  We are unable to accept bookings from anyone under the age of 21.

Alterations to your booking

Your booking shall be in accordance with the details at the time of booking.  Your booking

shall be non-alterable within 42 days (6 weeks) of your holiday start date.  Should you need to alter your holiday prior to that time, we will do our best to accommodate you.  However, no guarantee can be given.

Our service to you

We do all that we can to ensure you enjoy your holiday and your holiday home is in full working order.  However, occasionally problems occur.  Should any arise please speak to us immediately in order that we may deal with the problem and have it fixed.

Cancellation by you

Should you need to cancel your holiday please email us at info@frogandbucket.co.uk providing your dates of stay.  Our cancellation charges are detailed below.

No refund is given should you need to cut short your holiday after it has commenced.

Cancellation by us

Should any exceptional circumstances occur, and we have to cancel your booking, a full refund will be given.  We do not pay compensation in any circumstances.

Paying for your holiday

A £70, non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.  The balance is payable not less than 42 days (6 Weeks) before the holiday start date.  If payment is not received by this date we will assume that your holiday is cancelled and no longer required. Payment may be made by BACS or Card.

Prices

All prices are current at the time of publishing and your holiday will be as agreed and shown on your Booking Confirmation.  However we reserve the right to alter or amend our published prices, as long as we notify you of any difference before you book.  All prices shown are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate at the time of payment.

Arrival & Departure

We ask that you do not ask to check in before 3.30pm.  If you will be arriving after 6pm please let us know so we can ensure there is no delay in issuing your key.  Departure is by 10am on the day of departure.  Please do not forget to leave your key when you go.

NO Dogs / Pets

No pets of any kind are allowed, other than Assistance Dogs.

Number in your Party

The total number in your party must not exceed the maximum capacity of the accommodation as advertised.  If more than half of your party are aged between 17 and 30 you must advise at the time of booking.  We have the right to cancel your booking, if the group who arrives is not as listed on the booking form, and we have not been previously advised of the change, in writing.

Supervision of Children

Due to cars and touring caravans being present at the site, we ask that you ensure all children are properly supervised throughout your stay.

Use of Your Accommodation

You are required to take good care of your holiday accommodation whilst you occupy it. At the end of your holiday you must leave your accommodation undamaged, tidy, and free of all rubbish which must be disposed of in the bin on site. By booking with us you agree that we have reserved the right to recover from you any costs of fees incurred by us for damage to any of our property caused by you, or a member of your party.  We may either, at our sole discretion, request the immediate payment of our reasonable costs, or charge the payment card details provided at the time of booking.  Should we be unable to process a payment against the card, we will take legal action to recover the cost of any damage caused during your occupation.  We reserve the right to enter your accommodation, at any time during your stay, in order to inspect the condition of the accommodation, or without notice in the event of an emergency.

Your Holiday

All bookings must be for holiday use only, we cannot accept bookings for work related trips.  All adults booked must appear on the electoral roll and, if requested, provide evidence such as a utility bill.  Please ensure you have photo I.D. with you as you may be required to show it during your stay.

NO Barbecues

Unfortunately, due to our insurance, we are unable to allow the use of Barbecues on the site.

Smoking Policy

Smoking, e-cigarettes and vaping are not permitted in the accommodation.  If you do so you will be charged £100 for it to be specially cleaned.

VISOR

We do not allow anyone who is listed on the Violent and Sex Offenders Register to stay on our site.  By making a booking you are confirming that no one in your party is on the register.

Suitability of Holiday Homes

We are sorry but our accommodation is not suitable for holidaymakers with Wheelchairs.

Personal Possessions

The Company does not accept any responsibility for the theft or loss of your personal possessions whilst staying at our site.  You must take appropriate security measures to ensure against this.

Your Car

All vehicles are brought onto the premises at their owners risk.  The Company does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to these.  Our site is not currently designed to supply electricity required to support vehicle charging.  Doing so would cause additional load and could result in our business being without supply.  There would also be an increased risk of electric shock, and trip hazard due to charging cables. Therefore we have to insist that you do not use the electricity supply to charge your vehicle.  (Tesco, located approximately 3 miles away, has car charging facilities).

The caravan site is located immediately to the rear of the Frog and Bucket pub,  a welcoming real ale village pub in South Petherwin. It can be busy during evenings, however, mornings are peaceful affairs - with spectacular, uninterrupted views across to Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor.
