Our pet friendly caravan to let at Challaborough Bay Holiday Park in South Devon, is a clean and modern caravan with double glazing and gas central heating.

With 3 bedrooms, our comfortable caravan at Challaborough Bay, sleeps up to 8 people. It has a master double bedroom,  two twin bedded rooms and a pull-out bed in the lounge.

The caravan has an open plan lounge and kitchen area, with flatscreen Freeview TV and DVD player for those rainy days.  

It has a shower room with toilet and wash basin, along with a separate toilet with hand basin. 

Parking for two cars is available by the caravan.

Up to two, well-behaved, small dogs are welcome at our caravan.

We are happy to accommodate full week bookings (Saturday to Saturday), weekday bookings (Monday to Friday), or weekend bookings (Friday to Monday).

Challaborough Bay Holiday Park is a lovely site for family holidays, and even boasts its own Blue Flag beach. There’s something to offer everyone, regardless of age!

On site you’ll find daily entertainment in the clubhouse, along with an indoor swimming pool, arcade and pub.

Being a dog friendly site also makes it ideal for pet owners and we’re happy to welcome up to two, well-behaved small dogs at our caravan. There’s a dog walking field to the back of the park and you can use the beach during the off-peak season, along with lovely coastal footpaths nearby.

The location makes it ideal for visiting Devon’s tourist attractions such as Woodlands adventure park, Paignton zoo, Dartmouth steam railway, Babbacombe and Blackpool’s Sands, to name a few.

If you don’t fancy travelling out for the day, in addition to the site facilities, there are lovely walks you can do from the site, including walking across to the lovely neighbouring Burgh Island, or along the coastal path to Ringwood, or further.

1. Please note this is a Pet Friendly caravan (accommodating up to two small dogs). Please be

aware of this if you have any allergies (Our caravan is cleaned thoroughly after each booking by

local cleaners on site). If you are staying with pets, then please do not leave your pets unattended

for long periods of time in the van and be aware that in the summer season the caravan can get

very warm inside. Please also be aware of the site rules on dogs – including disposal of dog waste

in the park dog waste bins provided and keeping your dog on the lead whilst around the site.

Dogs are not allowed on the Challaborough Bay beach during peak season but are allowed on

the Burgh Island beach all year round. There is also a dog exercising field at the back of the park

where dogs can be let off the lead.

2. Our caravan is checked and cleaned between let’s but please ensure you leave the inside and

outside of the caravan as you found it, in a clean and tidy condition. Some cleaning products are

provided for guests use underneath the sink. We also provide a Hoover in the gas cupboard.

3. Your booking price includes £50 to cover breakages. If there is no damage to the caravan or

contents £50 will be returned to you after your stay. Please report any breakages. Our caravan is

fully checked and cleaned before and after each booking. All bookings require your home

address, the names and ages in your party and email address for any correspondence. Once you

have paid your deposit and it’s accepted, your booking is then confirmed. I will send you an email

detailing the dates of your booking, the amount you need to pay, and by when. We are happy to

accept payment by instalments but ask that the balance is paid in full 4 weeks before your stay.

Once full balance has been paid your booking is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

4. The price you pay includes gas, electric (EV charging not allowed), and water. Duvets, and

pillows are provided, but you Will need to BRING YOUR OWN BED LINEN, and towels.

5. Club passes aren't included but you can purchase them from Receptionon arrival. They are

currently £13.45 (peak) per Adult (2023). These passes give you access to the Club, Pool, and

Sauna. *Prices are set by Parkdean so subject to change. Passes are not required for the

Waterfront Bar/Restaurant.

6. EV (Electric Vehicle’s). EV charging is not allowed from our caravan either from internal

sockets, or the external mains connection. This is for health and safety reasons, and due to

energy costs to charge an electric vehicle. Currently there are no EV charging points at

Challaborough Bay. At the time of writing the nearest charging point is in Kingsbridge (POD UK).

Due to the remote location, and lack of on-site charging facilities we would not recommend

bringing a non-Hybrid Electric Vehicle. If you do so you accept that we do not allow charging from

the caravan.

7. PARKING AT CARAVAN. You are welcome to park up to two cars by the side of our caravan.

Please be aware that Parkdean operate parking restrictions at Challaborough Bay. These are

managed by ParkingEye. It is recommended to register your car(s) up to 7 days before your

holiday. However, you can also register on arrival. If registering on arrival, you need to ensure you

register within 30 minutes of arrival time. We would therefore recommend registration before your

holiday. Registration only requires your car(s) registration number via an online website which is

specific to staying at our caravan only. Registrations made before 7 days in advance will not be

valid. We will not be liable for any parking charges incurred by guests staying at our caravan.
