Freshwater Beach, Bridport, Dorset (Ref.106199)

This static was brand new 2018 season. We have for hire on Freshwater Beach Holiday Park our Abi Summer Breeze Delux holiday home, which is in a great spot, literally 25 yards to your own private beach beach.

This property is pet friendly as we have realised the popularity of this site with dog lovers and also the majority of enquiries are from dog owners. Being a dog owners ourselves, we know the difficulties when trying to book somewhere. The garden has a patio and a charcoal bbq, it has a  fence around so your dog and children will be free to run about without running off.

We would like to stipulate that a  maximum of 2 small to medium sized dogs are allowed.   We ask that you disclose the breed and number of dogs (maximum is 2)  at the time of your enquiry please.  Whilst we welcome dogs into our caravan we do ask their owners to refrain from allowing them on the sofa's and beds for obvious reasons.

This is a lovely 2 bedroom, 6 berth static holiday home that’s almost brand new and well equipped with everything that you could need for a comfortable stay. 

It has central heating in all the rooms, which is controlled by a thermostat. There is a lovely glowing fire with LED lighting in the sitting room too, where you will also find a smartTV with Freeview which has numerous channels for your enjoyment, along with a DVD player with a selection of films or you can bring along some of your own films to watch.

For the kids (and aldults) we have also included an XBox 360 with a selection of games for all ages.  We have also provided some cosy throws should the weather become a bit chilly but would ask our guest not to take them off site and to only use them in the van or on the patio.

 The twin bedroom has two single beds, a bedside table, table lamp and a wardrobe. 

The main bedroom has a double bed, double wardrobe and bedside tables with fixed lamps above,  we have also included a TV with a built in DVD player  should you fancy watching a bit of TV in bed, or puttting the kids in bed with a film.  A high chair is kept under the double bed for our guests to use.

There is some space under the beds for storage of suitcases if needed.

We ask our guest to bring  their own  bed linen, tea towels and towels.  We will provide pillows with protectors and duvets, enough for a party of 6 guests.   All the mattresses have mattress protectors that are changed after every guest visit. 

The bathroom consists of a lovely shower cubicle with power shower, a sink, toilet, mirrored bathroom cabinet and extractor fan, there are also plug points on the side of the cabinet for electic shavers.  

Outside is an enclosed patio area plus a round patio table with bench seats attached, there is also a charcoal BBQ.    BBQ utensils are kept in the garden box. 

The caravan is cleaned and checks are made after each departure so that we are always aware of the cleanliness and the condition of the holiday caravan.   Once the caravan has been checked and it has been established there is no damage, breakages or stains etc, your security deposit will be returned to you.

PLEASE NOTE -  This Is A Non Smoking Caravan. If it is found that you have been smoking in the caravan then you will lose your deposit. It is not fair on us having to get rid of the smell nor is it fair on the next occupiers.  Also please remember that if you have muddy boots or wet sandy footwear it would be nice if you could take them off before entering the caravan in order to avoid  dirtying  and staining the carpets and floors of the caravan. Once again, this will be checked upon departure.

LOCATION AND SITE

Freshwater Beach Holiday Park itself has 2 outdoor heated pools; a small one for children and a large one for adults. Inside the Jurassic centre there’s another couple of children's pools, together with fun slides and water features, along with a large indoor adults’ pool with Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room in the same area as the pool. On the same floor there is a hair salon, arcade style amusements and pool tables. Upstairs is a bar/restaurant (with takeaway service) and also a 10 pin bowling alley.  The bar has a large balcony with plenty of seating, the balcony overlooks the outdoor swimming pool with far reaching views of the countryside beyond.  It's a lovely spot to have a drink and unwind.

There are 2 other bars in here, one for adults only.

Entertainment is put on throughout the year and there is usually something happening during the day and at night.   With a host of magicians, comedians, tribute acts and cabaret, I'm sure there's something for everyone.

Outside are the award-winning toilet and shower blocks with a laundertte next door, there are 4 washing machines, 4 tumble dryers and 3 static ironing boards in place.   You will be amazed at the quality and cleanliness of these.

There is the supermarket on site, which has practically everything you will need for your stay, especially if you don't particularly want to venture outside of the holiday park.

The long and gorgeous beach is private to Freshwater Beach Holiday Park, so no dashing down to find a spot - anyone who knows their fishing will know the popularity of Burton Bradstock and Abbotsbury beaches and the demand to try and find a spot.  With Freshwater there are no worries as the beach is private and you can just about fish wherever you want. You can walk out of our caravan and be set up fishing in about 30 to 40 yards in front.

The beach is dog friendly and there are some wonderful walks you can access via either side of the beach - both have steep approaches, should you decide to take the coastal path but the views from the top are worth it.  From one side of the beach you can walk to West Bay - either over the cliff top or along the beach and from the other side, you will have to do the cliff top walk for this, you can walk to Hive Beach.  

Next door to the holiday park is Bridport Golf Club which is available to non members and a bit further along is the market town of Bridport, which hosts its famous street markets on certain days - usually Wednesday's and Saturday's.

The resorts of West Bay, Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Weymouth are a short drive away, or you can even take the bus which stops right outside of the site.

Please be aware we are unable to offer weekend or short breaks from March until mid October.

A security deposit of £100 will be required at the time of booking and will be refunded when the caravan has been checked after your departure.

The balance should be paid within 6 weeks of your holiday and I will send a reminder nearer the time along with the key safe number and any other information you will need.

Admission to the caravan will be from 2pm on the date of your arrival and you will need to vacate the caravan from 10am on the day of departure this is to allow the cleaners a 4 hour window in order to get the caravan cleaned and ready for the next guests.

All gas and electric is included in your rental price.

6 entertainment passes which will also give you free access to the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room and entry to the Jurassic centre and bars for all your other entertainment. 

* Please note that these passes must be returned on departure as Freshwater will charge £10 for each replacement. 

* Please also ensue that all bins are emptied before you depart as we are charged £10.00 extra by our cleaners if they have to do this and will have to take this extra       charge from your deposit.

 * Please remember to clean the BBQ if you use it, our cleaners do check at the end of each stay and charge us £40.00 for cleaning which we then have to pass on to you via your deposit.

Free Wi-Fi is available, but there is a daily data limit of 500 mb per item which resets at midnight each day.

Lastly, we sincerely hope you enjoy your holiday at Freshwater Beach in our caravan.    Have a lovely time, the beach, shop and entertainment is not far from where you are staying.  We recommend a trip into West Bay, which is literally a 5 minute drive for excellent fish and chips from one of the many little sheds that are along the front.

Freshwater Beach Holiday Park is located in the South West of England in the beautiful county of Dorset. Spend a wonderful seaside vacation on the coast, making the most of the private beach. There is also a Golf Course (not part of the park itself, but adjoining the site).
