Stunning, uninterrupted views across the sea as far as Wales to the front and the cliffs to the side as shown in the first 2 photographs, our spacious lodge(456 sq feet) is only 7 years old.  Situated on a friendly family run site on the North Somerset coast, it accommodates 4 people and has a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher.  Free parking next to the Lodge.  Gas central heating, double glazing and well insulated. Access to the beach on the Somerset Jurassic coast and to coastal path directly from the site.

The lodge benefits from nearly 200 square feet of wrap around decking to the side and front, creating a relaxing area to enjoy the sun and sea views. Four large glass panels have been installed radiating from the corner of the decking to maintain uninterrupted views both from the decking and from the sofa in the lounge.  The decking area has a large patio table and 6 chairs.

Inside the lodge it is light with 2 sets of floor to ceiling glass tri fold doors, one to the front and one to the side, opening onto decking; it has large windows and a skylight. The large L shaped sofa creates a wonderful viewing area of the sea and cliffs.

The lodge has the following facilities: double bedroom with a king size bed, wardrobes, storage cupboards, dressing table, mirror, en suite: a second bedroom with 2 single beds, wardrobe, bedside table, storage cupboards, mirror.  The lounge has a  sofa, coffee table, flat screen TV.  The kitchen/dining area has a dishwasher , kitchenware, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, oven, dining table.  There is a separate bathroom with shower.  Outside there is a rotary clothes line

The lodge is set in 20 acres of grounds in St Audries Bay Holiday Club (A winner of the Booking.com Traveller Review Awards 2021) at the foot of the West Quantock hills, an area designated of outstanding natural beauty.  It benefits from the following facilities:  a large indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, tennis court, table tennis, snooker (adults only), Pool tables, putting green, boules court, launderette, licensed bar, large restaurant, all day coffee bar, shop, games room and children's play area.

Nearby are extensive National Trust grounds and unspoiled villages. It is less than 20 minutes to Exmoor National Park.  Taunton, Minehead and Bridgewater are the nearest large towns.

Duvets, pillows, pillow protectors and mattress protectors are provided but guests are to provide their own bedding and towels. 

Note:  Access to the lodge is via steps so is unsuitable for wheelchairs

The site does not make a levy for access to their facilities

There is good 4G mobile reception making it suitable to use mobile phones as hotspots for other devices.  The site has a free WiFi available in the clubhouse - speak to reception for access details

Most of our bookings are through AirBnB, which costs more than through this site, but you may wish to look at our reviews there. 

A non refundable deposit of £70 is required to secure booking,with the remaining fees due 6 weeks before holiday date.

Please note that additional to the rental fee, a £40 charge is made towards the cleaning costs.

A booking made within 4 weeks of the start date of the holiday will require full payment at time of booking.

There is a lovely indoor heated swimming pool with sauna offering ‘fun time’ for the children along with quiet times for other swimmers to enjoy. Children must be accompanied by an adult in the Pool building.
