Oakdene Forest Park, St.Leonards, Dorset (Ref.106611)

My lovely caravan is situated in a quiet area of this family friendly park on the edge of Hurn Forest and is just a short drive to Bournemouth and Poole. The caravan benefits from full front & side decking with patio furniture and an outdoor table & chairs for 4 people, perfect for the beautiful evenings we have here. 

The park has a fantastic array of on-site facilities including a club house with nightly entertainment and daily programmes for children & adults, indoor and outdoor pools, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym. There is also a small onsite shop but larger supermarkets are a 5 minute drive away.

The site also benefits from two well-equipped children's playgrounds, mini golf and even an archery area. There are lots of forest walks and cycle routes into the forest which are accessible from the site. You may even be lucky and catch sight of a deer!

Passes for the entertainment & pools can be purchased from Reception and prices vary depending on the season.

All of these facilities are managed by Shorefield (Oakdene site) and may be subject to closure or restrictions. Reception will have further details on this. Sadly there is a new park rule for 2021 whereby NO ELECTRIC SCOOTERS are permitted. 

Upon entering the caravan, you arrive into an newly refurbished spacious open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area where there is a table & 4 chairs. 

The comfortable, newly carpeted lounge consists of a free standing sofa & chair, coffee table and wall-mounted television and DVD player which includes Freeview. Along with central heating the lounge has a lovely flame effect electric fire with ambient lighting to set a relaxing mood. 

The fully equipped kitchen comes complete with a 60/40 fridge freezer, microwave, 4-ring gas hob and oven. Pots, pans, cutlery, plates and glasses etc are included for 4 people.

Off the hallway is a the main bathroom with a brand new shower cubicle, WC and hand basin with a storage facility for toiletries.

Bedroom one, is a twin room with 2 comfortable single moveable beds and bedside table with lamp. It also benefits from a large wardrobe with storage. Inside the wardrobe is a vacuum cleaner for your convenience.

Bedroom two, has a King size bed with two bedside tables, bedside lamps and a large wardrobe with storage. This bedroom also has an en -suite toilet and wash basin.

All beds will be made up for your arrival. There are 6 pillows, 2 single duvets and 1 kingsize duvet. You will need to bring your own t-towels, hand and bath towels as these will not be provided.

Note:  As of 2022 there is a newly installed Wifi system throughout the park provided and maintained by Shorefield Holiday Park. This has allowed for improved internet access in the Caravan.

£100 non-returnable deposit is required to confirm booking

A returnable damages deposit of £100 is also required and will be refunded once the caravan has been checked following your departure.

The balance is required 4 weeks prior to arrival, full payment required if booking within 4 weeks.

Bookings are for 7 nights but short breaks are possible. However please enquire first. 

All Beds will be made up for your arrival unless you have stated otherwise. You will need to provide your own towels & t-towels.

When departing, the van should be left clean & tidy with all bins emptied & the bedding removed & left in the doorways. Please remove the cushions on the outdoor furniture & store back in the wardrobes - ensuring they are dry & clean.

Please remember this is a 4 person caravan and occupancy must not be exceeded - There are no more than 2 dogs allowed in the caravan as per Shorefield site rules.

Embracing the beauty of England's countryside, Oakdene Forest Park is a peaceful, rural retreat that's only nine miles from Bournemouth's award-winning sandy beaches.

In every direction you can explore nature reserves, country parks and Forestry Commission land. It's easy to relax being so close to nature.

Footpaths and cycle tracks lead straight off the park into the Avon Forest.

The club complex brings all-weather entertainment under one roof and helps to give the park a four star status.
