Perfect as a base for those wishing to explore Dartmoor and the surrounding areas.

Set in a secluded setting in the grounds of a converted barn, it has 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, shower room, lounge with gas fire, TV/DVD, small selection of DVDs, books.and games, and kitchen with gas oven, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, and all necessary utensils and tableware.

There are 2 seating areas at either side,as well as a large area of grass in front of the caravan which I try to keep short.

Guests are free to roam the 2 acres of land and woodland which also has a stream running through it, but do so at own risk. Children are welcome but should be supervised due to potential hazards of the land/water/woods.

It feels like you are in the middle of the nowhere yet it is only a couple of miles away from a large Tesco and Lidl, as well as pubs, restaurants and takeaways.

It is a few minutes by car to the edge of Dartmoor and about a 20 minute drive into the heart of Plymouth city centre. Tavistock is also about 20 minutes away.

Walkers will appreciate the close proximity to the moors as well as local walks available.

I have an outbuilding where guests could store bikes if they wish.

There are resident animals including cats, dogs and chickens, and unfortunately, dogs are not allowed for this reason.

All of them will probably be trying to join you in the caravan so a love of animals is recommended!

There are also 2 cockerels who will be giving you an early morning wake up call.

Bedding is provided but you will need to bring your own towels.

Please be aware that there are power lines running over the neighbouring barn which can be seen in last pictures.

Phone signal and WiFi can be a bit hit and miss as it is situated in a valley.

This would suit those who appreciate a quieter rustic holiday surrounded by nature.
