The Nana Van should feel like home from home, because this is why it was created. Previously it has felt like you have to take everything bar the kitchen sink with you when you go on a self catering holiday in the UK, but we would like you to be able to take away less and enjoy your stay in our caravan more.
As a Nana I know what its like to try and travel light, but end up packing the car full to the brim. The ‘Nana Van’ has tried to provide all possible home comforts combined with little extras you may have forgotten whilst ticking off all the essentials on your endless list.
In the bedrooms you will find all of your bedding, including throws and night lights for the children, whilst these provide perfect home comforts for little ones they can also be removed and placed in a cupboard for adults or older children to use these rooms. The bedding in these twin rooms have been selected to cater for children or adults in modern colours with a homely feel. There is a master bedroom with double bed, a foldaway double bed in the lounge as well as two twin bedroom, both with single beds. The single beds can be put up on there sides or pushed together.
There is also a travel cot with bedding and blankets and a toddler bed guard, which can be used in any of the bedrooms.
The kitchen has been stocked with all of the culinary equipment to create meals to feed your family, or to just provided a quick snack. Whatever is your desired choice you will be able to fully utilise the highchair provided and the variety of children’s tableware sets.
In the bathroom and toilet you will find bath mats, hand soap, toilet rolls and even disposable toothbrushes if you happen to arrive unprepared.
We have had lots of enquiries in the past for people wanting to book two caravans. We now have a second caravan (Glade 29), which compliments the Nana Van (Glade 27). The Nana Van caters purely for families with small children and is an 8 berth. The brand new caravan is perfect for grandparents or second families who want to holiday together, as both caravans are extremely close. The caravan on Glade 29 would probably suit adults or people with slightly older children.
The Caravan park is open all year round, but The Manor House is only open between February and October. April- September, this is when all the entertainment programs are in full swing. The Manor House is where you will find all of the entertainment and the restaurant/ takeaway. Passes are required for the Manor House and the swimming pools, but they are not included in the rental. Currently the prices are as follows per family in an 8 berth caravan:
7th April - 22nd April £71 (7 days) £48 (3-4 night stays)
26th May-8th September £71 (7days) £48 (3-4 night stays)
All other dates £54 (7 days) £36 (3-4 night stays)
The holiday park is open 12 months of the year and we are happy to consider bookings out of the main season, if you are just wanting to relax and are not intending to use the facilities of the park.
