Whitethorn Farm is a working farm on the edge of Cropton village. A family run beef and sheep farm.

Cropton is a pretty little village on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors and only 4 miles north of Pickering. Perfectly situated for exploring the moors and coast. There is plenty to do in the area with the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway in Pickering that goes all the way through to Whitby. The North Yorkshire Moors is home to lots of beautiful villages like Rosedale Abbey with its heritage lead mines and Gillies Jone glass blowing studio. Goathland famous for been home to the hit TV show Heatbeat. Or even Hutton le Hole where you will find Ryedale Folk Museum. If you prefer to just get out onto the moors walking or cycling there is plenty to choose from.
